Shifts Available:

  1. Part-Time (24 Hours)
    • Friday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
    • Saturday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  2. Full-Time (32 Hours)
    • Sunday–Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  3. Part-Time (16 Hours)
    • Sunday & Saturday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
    • Friday & Saturday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
    • Friday & Saturday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Description:
Lehigh Valley Companion Care Homes is seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide care and support to individuals residing in our care homes. The ideal candidate will assist with personal care, promote independence, and help create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for our individuals.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Administer medications and document accurately following prescribed schedules.
  • Provide emotional support and foster positive relationships with our individuals.
  • Facilitate and engage in recreational and community activities with the individuals.
  • Observe and monitor residents’ health conditions and report any concerns.
  • Implement individualized care plans and behavior support strategies.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment.
  • Complete and maintain accurate documentation and records of care.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications are a plus).
  • Previous experience in direct care is preferred but not required training is provided.
  • Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical stamina and ability to assist with transfers and other care needs.
