Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Team Lead for one of our homes. The Team Lead will play a crucial role in providing guidance, support, and leadership to our staff members to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services to our individuals. This position requires a strong commitment to person-centered care, teamwork, and excellence in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

· Set clear objectives, define roles and responsibilities, and ensure each team member aligns with the company’s vision.

· Communicate expectations, goals, and feedback to the team regularly and resolve any concerns or issues actively.

· Support team members’ professional development by providing opportunities for training and growth.

· Ensure team compliance with company policies and procedures.

· Directs assigned staff on a daily basis ensuring quality of service.

· Provides day-to-day variety of everyday living services and care to our individuals using positive approaches with respect for individual rights.

· Documentation responsibilities include completing monthly and quarterly reviews, monitoring Behavior Support Plans, when applicable.

· Provide hands-on assistance and guidance to staff in delivering person-centered care and implementing individualized service plans.

· Supervise and support a team of direct care staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.

· Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures related to the operation of the home.

· Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and professional growth.

· Collaborate with other team leads, supervisors, and management to coordinate care, address challenges, and implement best practices.

· Act as a liaison between residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders to address concerns, resolve conflicts, and promote positive relationships.

· Providing after-hours and on-call coverage as part of the direct care rotation

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a group home or similar setting, with demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.

· Strong understanding of person-centered care principles and experience working with individuals with diverse needs, including developmental disabilities, and/or complex medical needs.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

· Ability to remain calm under pressure, make sound decisions, and effectively resolve conflicts.

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

· A high school diploma or equivalent

· One year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.

· Flexible schedule and availability to provide on-call coverage as needed.

· Ability to lift between 20 and 50 lbs. and provide CPR after certification.

· CPR, first aid, NCI and/or MedTech certification, a plus

· Must be at least 18 years of age.

Pre-employment screening:

· Complete criminal background

· Name checked in the registries. (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)

· Drug testing.

· Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.

· Proof of employment history or references (if required)

· Positions that require driving Proof of driver’s license, driver’s insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.
