Lehigh Valley Companion Care Homes (LVCCH) is an empathetic and forward-thinking home care initiative founded by Cynthia Kagai Libale, a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN/BSN) with over a decade of experience in the healthcare field. The founder possesses a profound personal connection to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities(IDD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and is deeply committed to delivering top-tier care, safe, and holistic support for people living with IDD. LVCCH currently operates two adult Supported Living units for IDD and ASD in Whitehall Township and Allentown City, with plans for future expansion.

Management Team

The CEO serves as the organization’s overall leader, responsible for providing strategic direction, managing clinical operations, and ensuring the highest standards of care. Additionally, the CEO functions as the Clinical Director, overseeing all clinical aspects of the organization. The CEO/Clinical Director also establishes and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare providers, and advocacy groups.

A multifaceted leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management and financial operations. This role requires the development and implementation of effective HR and financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the organization’s mission and goals effectively.

Ensures the organization’s compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. In addition to managing the administrative functions of the Compliance and Quality Assurance Director, this role encompasses the development and implementation of policies, training programs, auditing processes, risk management strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain the highest standards of care and compliance for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Promotes the well-being and growth of individuals with intellectual and development disabilities(IDD) and autism spectrum disorders(ASD). With a focus on no more than 30 participants for this or any other engagement, this specialist takes on diverse responsibilities. They coordinate assessments, actively engage in developing individual plans, supervise activities, promote community integration, and maintain open lines of communication with families and friends. Moreover, they actively contribute to financial processes, facilitate seamless communication coordination, ensure licensing compliance, and participate in staff development activities. Program Specialists are expected to be flexible, making themselves available both on-site and virtually as required by their schedules and the organization’s needs.

Plays a crucial role in overseeing the overall operations of the company. You will be responsible for managing and leading the team to ensure the highest quality care and services are provided to our residents. The General Director works closely with the executive leadership to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company’s mission and values, and foster a positive work culture.

The Direct Support Professionals (DSP) at Lehigh Valley Companion Care Homes are critical members of the care management team. This is because they are responsible for providing direct care and support to individuals residing in companion care homes. The DSPs play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life, promoting independence, and ensuring the well-being of the residents while also actively participating in various administrative functions to support the organization’s compliance with the waiver program requirements.
