A Morning of Togetherness: LVCCH Family Brunch at IHOP Allentown
October 4, 2025, was a special day for the Lehigh Valley Companion Care Homes (LVCCH) family. Residents, their loved ones, and our dedicated team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) gathered at IHOP, 1511 Lehigh Street, Allentown, PA, for a heartwarming Family Brunch filled with laughter, stories, and shared joy.
Celebrating the Bonds That Matter Most
The Family Brunch was more than just a meal — it was a celebration of connection, belonging, and the spirit of community that defines LVCCH. Families enjoyed a delicious IHOP breakfast spread while sharing special moments with the residents and staff who have become like an extended family.
For many families, it was a cherished opportunity to see firsthand the care, dedication, and love that the LVCCH team provides every day. Smiles and laughter filled the room as everyone reconnected, exchanged stories, and created new memories together.
Honoring Our Direct Support Professionals
Our Direct Support Professionals are the heart of what we do. They provide compassionate, person-centered care to every individual in our community homes. The brunch was also an opportunity to recognize their invaluable work — the patience, empathy, and commitment they bring to supporting residents in living full, meaningful lives.
As one staff member shared, “Events like this remind us why we do what we do — seeing our residents happy, surrounded by their families, is what makes it all worthwhile.”
